Earth Moving on vinyl?

Yes, I got it on vinyl but it is nowhere near one of my favourite albums by Mike Oldfield.

I remember having a shirt in 1990 that kind of looked like the cover.  I might have a picture of it somewhere…

The album cover design by Storm Thorgerson and Colin Chambers. Storm is probably best known for his album art work for Pink Floyd. This Oldfield album is not one of his best work…

I just bought this 7″ promotional single of  ”Theme From Ommadawn” on eBay. On the label it says “Demonstration Not For Sale” and is from USA. It was a nice little addition to my 7 inch collection. Unfortunately the quality of the vinyl was perhaps not as promised. But it is a nice little extract from Ommadawn none the less. It has mono on one side and stereo on the other.

Virgin Records #ZS8 9505 – USA – Black & White Dean label

Today I went out and bought myself a copy of the album Exposed on vinyl.

I recently bought a Technics SL-1210 MKII turntable that I am very happy with and I just felt the need to have Exposed on vinyl once again. I did own it way back but foolishly sold it in the mid nineties. But today I found a cheap copy that will do for now.

I just love this album since it was one of the records that introduced me to the music of Mike Oldfield.

Amarok
V 2640 210 707

Yesterday I bought the album Amarok on vinyl. It is in very good condition and it is nice to now have it on vinyl. I also like the size of the vinyl covers. The only negative about this release is that the 60 minute track had to be split up on the two sides.
